A puzzle multi-cache solved by visiting some very ordinary locations around Dunedin.
There is no cache or waypoint at the above co-ordinates (which are in fact those of a prominent Dunedin tourist attraction). The cache is about 8 km from these co-ordinates.
You need to visit each of the 9 waypoints below, in any order, and record your location. They all have something in common, although in some cases you will need to have the imagination of the century to get the common link.
Write the waypoint locations down in order, and if the location of the cache is not initially obvious, it should soon become apparent.
All the waypoints are on public footpaths, in residential areas, and nothing is hidden at them. You may not need to visit all the waypoints, although the first few are probably essential.
If you don’t want to rush all over Dunedin, looking at the waypoints on Google Maps may be helpful.
If you are mathematically inclined, you might be able to solve the puzzle without using the waypoints in any way at all! Simply exclude the whole and put the relevant factors in order. Please note in your log if you achieve this feat.
The cache is (only just) on private property.
The cache is in a 20 litre white rectangular container with a round top clearly visible from all directions.
Friendly Warning: You should not go looking for the cache unless you have a smiley face.
