Travel Bug Release Mechanism Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Antipodes: It seems this one has gone missing. Also, the location apparently got more and more filthy. It would be nice to have another travel bug release mechanism around, but this one should be considered missing in action.

Geocache Description:

This is a cache that consists of two plastic fruit containers strapped together. The cache is painted black. The terrain rating is 1.5, because you have to walk a bit down a small hill and as such the cache is not wheelchair friendly.

What do you do with travel bugs or geocoins that are ready to be released? Of course, you let them go in the wild using the travel bug release mechanism.

The idea is that this cache is very easy to find and easy to get to. It is placed on Wicks Road, which can be reached easily from both Epping Road (go right after the servos and before HT if you're coming from the city) or Lane Cove Road (go right into Waterloo Road if you're driving north, or go on Epping road and then left into Wicks Road). If you go under a bridge (of the M2 motorway), you are too far. You cannot get to this cache from the M2 directly, but taking the exit to Lane Cove Road will work.

This cache has enough space to contain a few travel bugs and heaps of geocoins. When the cache was placed, it contained three Snoopy travel bugs and there was still space for more.

Please take at least one travel bug or geocoin if there are any in this cache. Obviously, you are also encouraged to use this cache to release your travel bugs or geocoins.

Make sure you replace the cache as you found it, otherwise it may be muggled and we don't want that with precious travel bugs and geocoins inside.
