No 9 Tub Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is located opposite to the Plough Pub in Bignall End at the start of the Marion Platt Way in a memorial tub that was donated by the Apedale Heritage Centre to the community of Bignall End.
In 1963 the railway line was closed and in 1966/67 the railway bridge was demolished. You can see the path which the railway took and located on the opposite side of the roundabout was the old railway station.
Plans are underfoot to extend the footpath which currently runs from Bignall End to Halmer End right through to the Meerlake Way in Alsager.
You are looking for a black magnetic Nano which contains only a log. Please take along your own writing implement and as it is only small please sign the log with your initials only.
