Geocache Description:

This is the eighth part of a circular walk starting in Stoney Middleton, visiting some historic and interesting sights along the way and then ending up pretty much where you started from. There are nine caches in all to keep you busy over a 4ish mile walk. Some of the caches could be cache and dashes, but you wouldn't be doing youselves any favours by not taking in the walk - think about your health (and the environment) and go for it :o)!!!!

Possibly the one of the more interesting parts of this walk, the boundary stone was where the quarantined villagers placed their money to pay for the food which was left here for them. The stone is still here nearly 350 years later!
The view from up here looking down onto Stoney Middleton is rather good too, lets hope you get a clear day to enjoy it.
Once you have found this cache, plug in the co-ords for part 9 and head down the hill to a lane. Turn right along the lane and follow the road to the final cache on the walk.
Good luck
