I have a large TB Hotel near the Confederation Bridge that is getting a lot of hits and TBs, so I though it would be nice to have one in Woods Islands, near the ferry terminal, even though the ferry does not run all year.
I wanted the cache to be fairly accessible by cachers coming onto or leaving PEI, but as a TB hotel, it had to be hidden well enough that it would not be an easy target for muggles.
Cache is located a short distance down the road past the Wood Islands Tourist Information Center.
Cache is a large black 5 gallon bucket - it has a "snap on" lid, and I cut the slots a little deeper so each section is easy enough to pry up to remove the lid, hopefully without breaking a nail.
Cache contains a log book, pencil, and the usual swag.
There is an area to pull off the road near the cache, and the cache is on the ground in an area with mainly evergreen trees.
