Geocache Description:

This is a puzzle cache. The posted coordinates are for parking. Hours are 6am-midnight.

I love reading cache logs In fact, it’s possible that I spend more time reading cache logs than I spend geocaching! Of course there’s the obligatory SLTFTC, but more often then not, you as a cacher have something interesting, helpful, or amusing to say about the cache, the location, the day, or what your mood is in general. The logs do more than just give a good idea what to expect from the cache – it shows a little bit of who you are. There are many geocachers who, although I have never met you, I already know (because of your logs), that I like you . The logs help us keep up with our geocaching friends; if we haven’t heard from you in awhile, we’ll see one of your logs and know that you’re doing well enough to go geocaching. That’s always a good sign.

Sometimes the logs are so entertaining, , that I put that cache on our watch list. Liar's Cache is a good example of a local cache that’s on our watch list. Caches that are challenging for one reason or another go on the watch list too; have you ever wondered about how many ‘silent’ “Way to go 'your_id_here'!” is said on your behalf? It is not uncommon to hear “Guess who found the ‘cache_de_jour’ cache?” at our house.
Sometimes it’s the cacher that is so entertaining that we make it a point to see just what they have logged THIS time...

And even if all you ever do is SLTFTC, that still says something about you.

It’s also fun to read the actual logbook when out geocaching. I have to admit, most of the time we just scrawl our signature, but some of you take the time to write something worth reading, or something that doesn’t even go into the GC log.

Being KC cachers , we have read thousands of KC cacher logs. After a while, we were often able to recognize the cacher who wrote it, without even seeing the id. Not to say that any cacher will ALWAYS say the same thing, but still, sometimes you can find the subtle differences between their log, and someone else’s. We do something fairly consistent in our logs; we add double exclamation points at the end. Don’t know why I started doing that, but if it’s not there, then Russ probably wrote that log!!

We are guessing that if you are a local KC cacher, you will be able to come up with the coordinates for this cache with one hand tied behind your back . But if you are not a local cacher, we have included links to a few local caches where you will find examples of logs to help match up the cacher with the cache log:

Who logged this cache?

5 = restored cache container to original location and left a Kansas Sunshine geocoin. Have a nice day!

7 = Tnx 4 the cache . It was fun.
Thanks again and hope you do another.

2 = Find #139. Found it after the Metro KC softball tournament.

0 = I have been out of town for the last 3 weekends so there were a number of caches available for me to chase today.

This was one of 23 I found.

Your first part was very nicely hidden!! Here is another park I never knew was there. TNLNSL

1 = i was hoping that the poison ivy would be beaten back by now...but it is a very pretty crop...half of it is bright red. Saw it but PI kept me from the log.

4 = 6th of 7 finds today for hubby & I. Wow! Where do I begin on this one?!? …
T: pen, L: flag sticker, flag pin, SL. TFTC

3 = 3:00 10th of 12. Found this cache after a short search. Good view from this elevated location. TFTC.

9 = Ok, I had to head back to Leavenworth to find this nano. The Lady & I went to where I was looking last time & there it was, I was on the wrong side the last trip. I'm glad this one is off my list now. thanks

6 = Thanks for a quick "drive-by" cache. I perceive that some of the logbook may be missing. Thanks once again for the cache.

4 = A very nice little park. We just sat and watched the river for a while after signing the log. Thank you for the cache. This was an easy one. We like this kind.

7 = The nice divided boulevard on 95th Street seemed to be a bit of overkill going back to the park. I guess there'll be housing projects in there soon. Anyway, today there were no joggers or cyclists on the trail. Temperature was about 35°F, but the I think the forecast of snow scared everybody off. Found the cache at 1340. I could see the lid from pretty far off on the trail, so I covered it a little better before I left. Left a little rubber snake from Minard #2, a Swiss 2 franc coin and Japan 10 yen.

8 = FTF: but when I got there the gates were closed. The park gates aren't opened until 7:30 during the winter months, so I set off on a 3 mile walking journey to find two new caches.

9 = Found this one with Potato Finder…VERY COOL FIND!!! TNLNSL

9 = What a beautiful evening for a stroll along the river… We found the container with little trouble. We signed the log and replaced it as we found it.
