Brother Maynard
Not long after King Arthur used the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch in Scene 21 to smite the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog, the pieces were carefully gathered by Brother Maynard’s brother, Brother Pius the Pious. It was feared that the holy relic would be seen no more. It was, however, painstakingly reassembled by a series of solitary Cistercian brothers using only their own nose hairs and European sparrow saliva as the sole method of adhesion. The monks toiled mostly in complete solitude, taking centuries to complete their task.

There once was a hermit named Dave. He lived in a nearby cave and would never permit visitors to enter. Even though the monks were tempted to use the Holy Hand Grenade to gain access to Dave’s lair, it was decided upon completion that the blessed bomb would be returned to the place it was first found. Though it was originally thought to have originated in the original town of Antioch in Syria, due to a clerical error caused by a sticky Q key on the Abbot’s typewriter, the Grenade was instead sent to Antioch, Illinois.

The secret hiding place of the Holy Hand Grenade is known to but a few. The monks continue to guard the secret carefully, passing the location down orally from one generation to the next. And, of course, it is on the internet.

If you should find the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, please rehide it well and do not divulge the secret to anyone. The power contained in the Grenade would be devastating in the wrong hands . It is an irreplaceable artifact. And the monks are all out of nose hairs.
