This is an easy drive-by cache out in apple country on the Cartecay River in Ellijay, GA.
This is an easy one to find that makes a great pair with the Cartecay Coin Cache. The cache is located beside the Cartecay River off of Lower Cartecay Rd in Ellijay, GA. You can park in the lot of a river outfitter to reach it (Daytime only, no nighttime searches.) The outfitter knows the cache is there, but watch out for mugglers when the kayak and tube season is running strong. If you are up for real adventure and the river cooperates, you can find this cache as you put in, and Cartecay Coin Cache where you take out. You will find this one at eye level. (Had to move his cache about 150 feet from previous location. New coordinates are good, and cache is in good condition as of 10 Oct 2025)
