Near a monument holding a USGS BenchMark
The monument at these coordinates looks like it should have had a placque to commemorate something important like an historic trail. But alas, it seems only to honor the attached USGS Benchmark. So we call it ODE to USGS!
Note that this location is on the Putah Creek Riparian levee road. Foot travel is the best way to get here. Bikes are permitted as long as they are kept on the levee road itself.
