1. On February 2 (Groundhog Day), there was a severe winter storm in Clare, Digby County, Nova Scotia. This storm was named "Groundhog Day gale of 19AF".

2. On Friday, September 5, 17BC (The Great Expulsion), all males aged 10 years and up were to gather in the Grand-Pré Church to be told that all Acadians were being deported.

3. Adolphe à Nicolas was born in 189D.

4. L'Église Sainte-Marie (the largest wooden church in North America) in Church Point, NS, was built in 19E5.
