How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

An Impoverished cache with an amazing view of the Indian Ocean. 10m elevation. Access by typical Mozambiquan bush road (track). 4x4 not needed. Walk onto the beach and up some stairs.

The Cache is a simple Jar container hidden in a plastic bag in a blue plastic drainpipe and buried at the foot of a pole marked with a small X.

This is one of those amazing places to visit along this rugged Indian Ocean coastline.

The property owner is a close friend and although he is aware of the cache does not know its exact location. So there will be no cheating on this one.

I will maintain the site periodically on my visits to this my favourite playground.

Its within the boundary of a resort and there are a few other inhabitants of the area. They like their privacy hence there is not much publicity along the main North road.

Be aware of Potholes and the ever-zealous traffic police.

Nascer do Sol means Sunrise in Portuguese but litural translation is Birth of Sun.
