A lovely drive along near the Atlantic
Feltzen South is located across the harbour from Lunenburg, and it's very pretty in its own right, with delightful nooks and crannies that will certainly please the eye. Start your search by getting to Lunenburg, and then taking Highway 332, leading to Rose Bay and Riverport. Before Rose Bay, you'll see the Feltzen South Road near the Kilted Frenchman Restaurant — which stays open all year, unlike many local restaurants.
Drive along the Feltzen South Road, ignore The Ovens Road, and stay on the straight and narrow. You'll find some lovely coves, a nice wharf lined with colorful fishing boats, and this old cemetery, right by the sea, with many stones dating from the mid-1800s. It would seem that many families still live in the area, and their ancestors knew many difficult days.
This is a fine resting place for many Lunenburg county pioneers who lived by the sea. It's not winter-friendly, and when it was placed, included a few marbles, a toy or two, a FTF Certificate, a logbook, and a travel bug.
