Sandwitch size lock - n - lock. The best parking is along the side of the road near the crossroads.
This cache is placed in honour of Ann's Dad's Cat: Casey. Casey recently moved with Ann's parents "up the river", and is no longer able to visit his beloved beach. He is a very social cat, loving to visit neighbors and beach-goers, but he always comes home when Ann's Dad whistles. The cache is filled with whistles for him!
Make sure you walk the whole length of the beach, it's a little known spot that is really a treasuer itself!
As a side note: If you look to your right when you find and are facing the cache you will see the remains of an ancient graveyard. Folks were buried not with regular tomb stones, but with large flat rocks sticking out of the ground. This is where many of the founding members of the community (New Harbour) were burried.
Update Jan 2010: Our beloved friend and pet died in late November. He was a good cat and will be missed terribly.
