Close to Pigeon Creek, relatively level ground, just off the trail. Altitude 1,400 m.

Cache is located close to one of the main trails to Wind Valley. The trail passes over Pigeon Creek close to where the cache is hidden. Parking at the trailhead is N51 1.599 W115 14.852.
The trail is a relatively easy hike and there is another geocache (not ours) located about 2 km up the trail from this one that makes the rest of the hike very worthwhile.
The original cache was destroyed when the basement of the establishment was flooded in June 2013. The Pigeon decided to move to "higher ground" at the same location overlooking the creek. It has taken a year for renovations to be completed.
The Pigeon is pleased to announce that the establishment is now open for your enjoyment as of June 7, 2014.

*********NOTE: Shortly before Pigeon Creek the trail has recently been blocked off and a new trail established. You can follow the old trail but the ground is very rough. If you follow the new trail you will need to cross the creek by the new bridge and then cross the creek back to the original side by a series of stepping stones that people have kindly put in the creek. These stepping stone bridges will take you almost directly to the cache site.*************
