First impressions don't always tell the truth. What might look like pretty ordinary country from the road belies the hidden gems back beyond the first line of hills - and it is all there for those with a bit of time and leg power!
GZ has been deliberately selected so that cachers who are pressed for time can log in about 15 to 20 minutes from car. Access on foot is by way of fire trail.
For those who wish to venture a bit further:- To the west of the cache, the fire trail drops down to the quiet and secluded valley of Yaven Creek. It should only take another 20 minutes walk to get there, but take note - it is all UP on the way back! There are many spots along the creek which would be ideal for backpack camping or what ever you like ..... Have a look. You won't be disappointed.
