This is a regular sized cache container placed in the Turkey Hill Cemetery in Haddam.
Haddam was incorporated in October 1668 and in these cemeteries, you will find veterans of the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, and WWII. There were 28 men and their families from Hartford, Wethersfield, and Windsor who were the original first settlers in Haddam.
This cemetery has a lot of interesting graves and there is also rumored some "extra" activity here. There is a young girl that has been seen at night walking through here with a light shawl over her shoulders and a ragged doll in her hands. Please do not attempt this cache at night. I had a hard time with my GPS (it basically went to a blank screen with a vertical line across it) and it is a place of rest.
The accuracy of the coordinates is in question due to the problems I had with my GPS when placing it. I welcome any updated coords from anyone. The hint is very specific due to these problems. Take some time to look around--this is a very old cemetery.
Being spooked is fun and it goes with the season as long as it is done with respect to the area and to those past. Have fun and be safe.
