Geocache Description:

Dawn to Dusk. Please be respectful of the surroundings.

Near the given coordinates, you will find a Michigan historic marker that relates the interesting history of this cemetery. This land was donated by John Thomas to the township to form a public burying place. At the coordinates, you will find the grave marker for Ann, the wife of John Thomas. Take note of the year she died and her age at time of death.

To find the north coordinate of the hidden cache subtract the year of death from 1900. This number will be added to the minutes portion of 42*28.435 to obtain the north coordinate.

To find the west coordinate take the age of Ann at her death and add that number to the minutes portion of 083*15.558.
