Altitude 4,729 ft. It's another pretty view of the valley.
Cache is camo covered and 6" x 4" x 3" in size. No need to cross the fence.
From 1839 to 1882 traders used the present site of Alpine as a favorite camping spot on the Chihuahua Trail. The trail connected Chihuahua City, Chihuahua, Mexico and St. Louis, Missouri. From 1878 to 1882 cattlemen lived in tents and grazed their herds in the valley.
Remember to look for critters. Lens cloth is for FTF.
The general rule of Thumb for Geocachers should be "Leave it like you find it". That is the rule for Texans so please notice how the cache and it's hiding place are when you find it and put it back the same way before you leave.
REMEMBER! ! ! "LEAVE IT LIKE YOU FOUND IT"
