A pleasant hike through Odenton Nature Area. Some spotty reception due to canopy, and terrain is a 2 for most of the trip until the last 200' or so when it gets a bit rough. May get muddy after rain/snow.
Ok, for those who have been back here before, this area once housed some of Jakes Poppa's caches. Since the owner has re-located I figured there still needs to be a reason to come back here and enjoy the quiet peace of the woods. When you come to the second fork, follow your instincts (see waypoint). Original contents include: logbook/pen, floating keychains, sunglasses straps, sunscreen, and a couple of other goodies. FTF is a numbered portrait of Her Majesty, The Queen of England. Be sure to pay special mind to the attributes--NO OFF-ROAD VEHICLES OF ANY KIND!!! The ranger who approved this cache regularly patrols this trail and he will cite you if you test this theory (and he'll tell on you, too!). So, please be respectful of the park and its rangers and stick to hiking on foot. Enjoy the hike. Happy caching!!
