Woods School Traditional Cache

Regular cache with school theme. Easy to find on good dirt roads.
The local families petitioned the Minister for Education to get a schoolroom built. He provided a teacher if the families found a suitable building for the school. They did using an existing building. Dalkey Hill School began.
However on January 23, 1922 the second Dalkey Hill School known as Woods School was opened. The school closed in January 1957.
The pines were planted by school children on past Arbor Days are now the only tangible reminders of Woods School.A sign indicates its location along a good easy access dirt road.
Cache is a lunch box with original contents having a school theme. Please follow the school theme if you can.
