Geocache Description:

The old and relatively unspoilt village of Rait lies tucked away in the Braes of the Carse at the mouth of Glen Rait where it opens out into the Carse of Gowrie.

There are a number of retained cottages with thatched roofs in the village and it is worth strolling through to sample the true beauty of this village.

On the left-hand side just before you reach the thatched cottages you will see the old well, and on the right there is a rather quaint post office.

Enjoy the views over the Tay and to the Ochil Hills.
