Sara Crispy Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

tiki: There is no ground cover to place a cache. So until the stumps grow back, this will be gone. Perhaps it will be replaced by a new and better cache for a quick park and grab for the military base!

Geocache Description:

1 mile round trip stroll down a paved path along the Nuupia Ponds.

*** 6/07/09 - cache container cleaned our, new log, replaced with new swag! ***

This cache is named after a dog I walk along this path - Sara Crispy. This is a paved path that runs along the Nuupia Pond and H3. There are 2 signs on the military side of the fence that describe the ponds and the fish found in them. Due to the proximity of this cache to the Base Guard Gate, the cache is in a clear snap-lock container. Please use stealth (don't try at night with flashlights!) and watch for troops doing PT along the military side of the fence. If you are military the stroll from the gate is very short. Cache is placed on state property (regardless of what google maps tells you). Base PR knows of this cache and verified that it is on state property.

Waypoints are listed for public parking, private parking and path start. Enjoy the view and smell at low tide.
