Hidden Moorlands: Sheepwash Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Tuffty_n_Tizzy: This cache has gone walk about. If you need any information for the final cache in the series please message me and be patient I will get to you with help towards the final coords. I haven't the time to manage these caches at a distance so it will be better to leave the area for others to place hides.

Geocache Description:

The Hidden Moorlands series consists of seven geocaches hidden around the Staffordshire Moorlands. This series will introduce the geocacher to some of the less well-known beauty spots of the district. The cache is located adjacent to a footpath between Leek Road and Roughcote, in a locality known as Sheepwash. Despite being only a few miles from the urban sprawl of The Potteries, this is a pleasant area of meadows and woodland.

**ROSS BRIDGE CACHE IS ARCHIVED, DETAILS REQUIRED FROM THAT CACHE WILL BE ON OTHER CACHE PAGES FOR THE FINAL**

Recommended parking is at the end of the no-through-road at Sheepwash. Head over the ford and park alongside the pumping station. Please park sensibly and don't block the lane. From here, follow the footpath in a westerly direction across the meadows towards the cache. There are alternative routes to the cache. However, I wouldn't recommend using the path from Roughcote after rain - it can turn in to an absolute mudbath! You have been warned!
