This is a LARGE ammo can placed high on a large outcropping of sharp igneous rock.
I came out to this place to unwind and place a few caches. After placing nearby Wow! (GC16KHQ) I brought someone new to the sport out here to show him what it was all about. He made mention of the igneous rock, and after driving a ways up the road we decided to place this large ammo can up there.
Be very careful during your climb up and down. The climb is not technical, but the rock is sharp. There is an animal den near GZ, but please don't replace the cache in it as I did not want to disturb any possible occupants.
Please be mindful of this delicate desert landscape and the animals fortunate to call this area their home.
