Do you remember the great arcades of the 1980s? This cache is placed close to what was once a great arcade in the "Subway" section of Cameron Village-- BattleStations. This arcade was started by Fred Decker who was also part of the band Arrogance, which played in numerous clubs in the area.
In fact, the Subway was once an "underground" mall full of clubs like The Pier, The Bear's Den, Elliot's Nest and others. This arcade opened during the height of the arcade craze of the early 1980s, and was full of the hottest games. No visit to the Subway was complete without popping in and playing a few games.
Sadly, the Subway is no more. The middle of the parking lot outside of the Cameron Village Library once had a stairway leading down; this has been completely closed off and paved over. There was also a door leading to an alternate stairway on the other side of the building. All of the great clubs are gone, and the huge, hidden first floor of that huge block of stores is now empty or being used for storage.
This cache contains a prize for the FTF; however it must all be spent on arcade games, pool or jukeboxes are also acceptable.
