Evenlode is a picturesque village with some lovely houses and is situated on the River Evenlode. The village is mentioned in King Edwards charter and was then known as Eowenload.
Parking is roadside near to St Edwards church, from the church head northeast and then left at the bend signed Moreton 3,take the footpath on the left(not the bridleway)and follow the arrows to the cache.
For a longer walk why not consult your os map and carry on to the Chastleton cache(GC16KZV),there are several good footpaths and bridleways leading back into Evenlode.
