Decay of Caching Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

step2626: I visited the cache site. I found the lid for the cache container and the camouflage that is supposed to conceal it, but the cache container and log weren't near where they were supposed to be. I'd have to say that the "Decay of Caching" has decayed. It's time to move on to new ways to hide caches.

Geocache Description:

A micro in the woods--is this a sign of the decay of caching? Or is it just a good use of natural camo?

When caching first started, it was a 5 gallon bucket in the woods with fun stuff in it. Then came urban caches. Then came urban micros. Now there's this cache, a micro in the woods of an urban park. What is caching coming to?

The cache is well camouflaged and is not on the ground, nor is it out of easy reach. Please replace it back exactly as you found it. The difficulty rating is because of the tree cover limiting GPS reception. No real bushwhacking is required, but there could be some mud underfoot at certain times of the year. The cache is basically a film can, so bring your own writing instrument.
