The Conservancy has marked a rough trail. While it is an
interesting hike, it does not get you very close to the cache.
Instead, I recommend using the right-of-way shown on this
survey. Going this way will be gentle on both you and the land.
The ROW is open to public use, but it leads to a small lot and
cabin that are still private property. The cache is on Conservancy
land. I spoke to a co-owner of the cabin, and he is comfortable
with people skirting his property to access the cache. Please be
respectful.
The hide is not particularly snow-friendly. Cross-country would
be a great way to get close, but not too close. Keep an eye
on the kids.
