Micro located in a parking lot. The container is smaller than a 35mm film canister, wrapped in camouflage tape. NO PEN, bring your own. Terrain is really a one, however a person in a wheel chair would have to be able to stand up to reach the cache.
This cache is a park and grab, however, I would hope you would take a few minutes to look around at this historical location and perhaps step inside for a cool libation and meet the owner if it is open, his name is Troy. He granted permission for placing this cache.
Quihi used to be a stage coach stop on the trail from San Antonio to El Paso. The road was originally part of the Chihuahua Trail Extension, which ran from Indianola to El Paso
This building at one time was a general store, but for many years has only been a watering hole for the locals.
There is another cache up by the main highway behind the Lutheran Church. For history buffs there are a couple of historical signs to read.
