A not so easy road side park and grab, located along the northbound side of Route 73, at the site of the Oakville Pin Shop.
MUGGLES, MUGGLES, MUGGLES!
Supreme stealth required.!
This site has been used for manufacturing since the 1700s when James Williams built a grist mill here on Spice Brook.
In 1852 Green Kendrick of Waterbury organized the OakvilIe Pin Company which made straight pins and safety pins here.
The Steele Brook flows through the sub basement of the Pin Shop where it was originally used as a source of power for the site.
A variety of light manufacturing, retail, and storage now occupy these buildings.
Use maximum stealth when logging this one or it won't last long.
The store owners know its here, but noone else does. Lets keep it that way!
