Geocache Description:

This cache is being placed as part of the Average Parasite listing. Large ammo can located off of a wide trial in South Dade county. Bring your swamp gear. You will need it.

You are looking for a large ammo can that has been placed in a very interesting area. This is as close to a hike in the swamp as you will find in South Dade county. Parking at the trail head. Yes, there is a trail, beneath all of that grass, under the water. Wide path that takes you almost out to Biscayne Bay. Enjoy the birds, wildlife and the bazillion plants in the area as you head out for this one. A camera would be a good thing to bring with you, as long as its waterproof...and some rubber boots....maybe some hip waders during certain times of the year. It is possible to make this find without getting wet, if you are adventurous. Please use the trails and avoid bushwacking. ****Warning **** This cache is located in an area that will be wet during most of the year. You will get wet. You will get muddy. The trail is slippery in spots. Please seek with caution.
