Geocaching challenges many of our fears, spiders, snakes, dark places, heights. Some of these fears are based on imagining what might happen; others are due to an horrific experience as a child like being chased by an emu while your mother laughs or being locked in a cupboard by your big brother.
This new series of caches is committed to the technique of flooding - where the person is immersed in the fear reflex until the fear itself fades away.
Please share your personal phobia with us and maybe we can create a cache for you. Think of it as group therapy.
For those of you with achluophobia, you can treat yourself to your own therapy after you’ve located the cache.
