This cache is located somewhere in the Parque National in the center of San Jose. You will be guided to a paved place facing the "Monument".
The woman of Salvador shows you the way. Follow the direction to a tree without arms in the hand of a tiger.
The cache has a thin cord wraped around so look for that
Some informations:
The National Monument is an epic sculpture (built by Auguste Rodin, Paris). The group of women represent the Central American republics. The central figure, Costa Rica, wears a Phrygian cap (French Revolution!) as symbol of freedom and she holds the national flag. Nicaragua is covered with a veil, the symbol of mourning, and carries a broken sword. El Salvador brandishes a sword, pointing at the filibuster. Guatelmala, behind Nicaragua, holds an ax, while Honduras bears a shield and arrows. Finally, a man with a rifle -William Walker- tries to escape from the five republics; at his feet lies a fallen soldier, who represents the surrender of the filibuster.
Why so difficult? The main problem is not the search. The difficulty lies in getting the cache without letting ten people know. Heavy rain can be an advantage :-) (And do not go there at night)
(the cache is maintained by a friend I lived with while my stay in costa rica)
