This simple multi cache is placed along the Test Way and is accessible from a number of starting points but if you walk from the suggested parking co-ordinates of N51 02.369 W001 32.212 it will take you alongside part of a conveyor belt which is used to transport gravel from a local quarry . This should give a walk of approximately 1.6 miles car to car.
There is a bridge, which can be slippery in wet weather, over a river; a short steep incline; steep drops if you stray from the footpath; and parts of the route can become squelchy underfoot.
The co-ordinates given are for a home-made container which holds the co-ordinates for the main cache. The main cache is an ammo can containing a variety of goodies and a little extra for the first to find. There is no need to leave the footpath until you are about 90ft from the main cache.
You could extend your walk a little to a lovely tea room which is only a few minutes from the final cache.
Please replace both carefully and enjoy the walk.
It would be a good idea to combine this cache with GCKRNY.
February 2009-The Conveyor belt has now been dismantled there is almost no sign of it left but it did once run over the railway bridge.
June 2011-Edited as the stile has now been replaced by a gate
