Geocache Description:

Please rehide well as this is the second container I've had out here. You are looking for a decon container. I have received permission to place this cache. There was one request and that is to please respect the area.

I thought this was a fitting place for a cache. This memorial was dedicated May 4, 1991 and honors all veterans of military service. The flag measures 30 by 60 feet and flies 130 feet above the Kansas prairie. I can remember when the first flag was purchased. The local Boy Scouts helped to carry the unfurled flag in the Fall Festival parade in October, 1989. Both my boys were in Boy Scouts at the time and were able to help with that.

Congratulations to blulady for being FTF!
