Geocache Description:

Not far from highway, place to park, short hike.

When the local highway was rerouted a couple of years ago, the State acquired many parcels of land along the route. The cache is located on one of these parcels. What makes this spot interesting is that there used to be a sizeable pond here but when the highway came through the dam was removed. There is now an old wooden boat dock sitting high and dry with no water in sight. Fairly easy access but hilly terrain.

Cache is in a 6" round lock-n-lock covered with camo tape. Cache contains log and small trade items. Please replace as found.

Notes: Do not attempt to access cache directly from highway, there is no need. Pull onto Pleasant Hill road and you will see several spots to safely park. You do not need to get within 300' of the highway to access this cache. There are no fences or barriers to cross. If you come to a fence, you are WAY off course.

Have fun hunting!
