Roane Point #3 Traditional Cache

Traditional Rubber Maid container cache. Size it good for the log book and some small items.
Area has been totally redone with a rip-rap shoreline and dock. All the woods have been cleared with a park like setting. There is still a small boat launch good for john boats and kayaks.
This is the third iteration of this cache. The first was here for 5 years before it got muggled. The next was placed here just before the whole area got torn up being transformed into what it is today. I am sure it got eaten up by a backhoe. Hopefully this third iteration can have the longevity of the first.
Even if you have gotten this cache in the past the area really deserves a revisit to see what they have done here. Bring a pinic, sit on the dock, and enjoy views of the Piankatank river.
