Geocache Description:

Was out using some back dirt roads as a short cut. Lots of caches to find out here!

There are caches on the State Route where one end of this system of woods and logging roads starts and caches on the State Route on the other end. There are lots of caches along the way too. This is a good place to stop and stretch your legs. Just be sure to park well off the road and out of the intersection.

The road could easily be traveled with a car. Just take your time and be careful. I have seen many camp roads worse.

A local has told me these roads are plowed in the winter but can be very icy and heavily traveled by logging trucks. This would probably be tough to retrieve in the winter.

The rating is based on having no snow on the ground. With snow it might be about a 2 or might not be retrievable. This is rated a 1.5 terrain because it is not wheelchair accessible and the terrain is uneven. This micro has been replaced with a small decon container so it will hold small trades. It has also been wired in place. Please make certain the lid snaps on tight before you leave. it.

Hope you enjoy your break as you turn onto the Appleton Road!
