Geocache Description:

A smaller-than-normal micro just south of Evansville, IN, near the Kentucky border and Ellis Park.

Cache contains log only. BYOP.

Generally, the Ohio River forms the border between Indiana and Kentucky. Just south of Evansville, however, the border between states lies slightly north of the river. Here, Ellis Park thoroughbred race track lies in Kentucky, but on the "Indiana" side of the Ohio.

This cache is located on Indiana soil near the north entrance of Ellis Park. The only parking location is along the roadside to the east of the cache (or, if one were parked at the track during the racing season, it would be a convenient walk to the cache location).

The necessity of a roadside walk, near a curve offering drivers only a limited view of the road, makes this cache not particularly suitable for seekers with small children; if you must bring little ones, leave them (with an adult) in the car, and use caution yourself.
