Geocache Description:

A hike along Tenmile Creek

The Kusan Indians used to live in this area. The creek and the surrounding area provided huckleberries, salmon, clams and a variety of wild game. As you wander through the area today, you are still likely to see ne-mam-ooks(otter), mow-itch(deer) and maybe even chet-woot(black bear). It's a special place so I'm a bit dismayed to see ATV's sometimes venture into here.

You'll want to start at Spinreel Day-Use. You can park outside the entrance if you want to avoid the parking fee. The best route is to just follow the creek toward the ocean. There is trail in places, but no so much in others. Just remember to stick close to the creek and you will be fine.

Klatawa kloshe!
