After having had my own
4x4 adventure here on Matagorda Island thanks to GQ & TDW's
egging me on, I decided it was only fitting to place a cache
myself in honor of this mighty venture I'd accomplished (and my
new, oversized replica of last year's Jeep TB! LOL). So, driving
onward, past the farthest reaches of both GQ & TDW I spotted
a likely place to place a well secured cache container. Please
rehide/secure as well, or better than found, to ensure the cache
remains in place for the next cacher.

Don't even think of trying
this without four wheel drive. You won't get two miles without it.
You will also need a beach permit to travel here. The local stores
have them for $6. It's good for the year. If you can get to the
location, you can walk right up to the cache. You can hike to this
cache but it's about a 12 mile hike from the nearest parking. Four
wheel drive is a must. Be sure to have a full tank of gas before
you venture out there. Good luck and enjoy the tranquility. If you
are a beach comber, you will enjoy the undisturbed miles of
beach.
