This cache is hid along the North Country Trail, about 10 ft. off the path. On July 25, 2005 a Category 1 Tornado touched down here, and then swept through the campground at Bowman Bridge. This happened on a weekday. Had it been a weekend when the camp ground was full, it could have been devastating. Thankfully there were no injuries! A massive clean-up project followed, yet some evidence of the Twister can still be seen.
Access this cache from the North Country Trail off of Mac Road.
