Deutsche Beschreibung:
Der Almesbrunnberg ist eine 1079 m hohe Erhebung in den Gutensteiner Alpen. Trotz seiner Nähe zur Steinwandklamm und zu den Mirafällen wird er nicht oft besucht. Der felsige bewaldete Gipfelaufbau ist auf drei Seiten von einer Wiese umgeben. Hier hat man eine schöne Aussicht vom Schneeberg bis zum Göller.
Der markierte Weg führt 300 m östlich am Almesbrunnberg vorbei, vom höchsten Punkt dieses Weges (N 47°56.224', E 015°55.495') findest du jedoch schnell einen Weg zum Gipfel.
Der kürzeste Anstieg beginnt beim Gasthaus Jagasitz (N 47°55.636', E 015°56.818') und bringt dich in etwa 1 Stunde zum Ziel.
Der interessanteste Anstieg beginnt bei der Jausenstation Reischer (N 47°55.932', E 015°57.243'), führt durch die Steinwandklamm über die Berghäuser zum Gipfel und dauert etwa 2 Stunden. Wenn man diese Route mit der Suche von Stein, Wand & Klamm von M.W. (GCW5MZ) verbindet, braucht man ca. 1 Stunde mehr.
Eine aussichtsreiche Variante ist der unmarkierte Anstieg über die Forststraße vom Myrahof zum Almesbrunnberg.
Der Cache ist eine transparente 1 l Plastikbox und befindet sich in nächster Nähe des höchsten Punktes. Es ist nicht notwendig zu klettern.

English description:
Almesbrunnberg is a 1079 m mountain in Lower Austrian Gutensteiner Alpen. Despite its nearness to Steinwandklamm and Mirafälle it is not often visited. The rocky, wooded summit is surrounded by a meadow on three sides. Here you have a nice outlook to the mountains from Schneeberg to Göller.
The marked way passes 300 m east of Almesbrunnberg, but you will find a way to the summit from the highest point of this way (N 47°56.224', E 015°55.495').
The shortest way begins at the restaurant Jagasitz (N 47°55.636', E 015°56.818') and brings you in about 1 hour to the summit.
The most interesting way begins at the restaurant Reischer (N 47°55.932', E 015°57.243'), leads through Steinwandklamm along Berghäuser to the summit and takes about 2 hours. If you combine this route with caching of Stein, Wand & Klamm by M.W. (GCW5MZ), you need about one more hour.
The route with most views to other mountains is the non-marked forest road from Myrahof to Almesbrunnberg.
The cache is a transparent 1 l plastic-box and is hidden near of the summit. It is not necessary to climb.
