Crazysuzy has adopted this cache from Shuckymomo at his request. We will maintain his original cache description and intent as much as possible.
I was hoping to get up in the hills northeast of here, but it is all private property. I also wanted a cache that you needed to take some time to get to. As I was walking to the site, I thought this was similar to a jungle type environment. If you want to maybe see some "artwork" by the locals or a coyote carcass, going across the wash is fine, if there is no water running through it. You can park on the east side of the bridge and access the wash along the north side of the bridge. If you have access to quads, bikes or off-road vehicles, you can access this cache from the riverbed. It's a nice hike going through the wash and up the trail. It's about 1/2 mile round trip if you park at the waypoint listed below.
Have fun and be safe! Cache container is a plastic peanut jar.
