*gln: ### ARCHIVING CACHE ###

Since you haven't repaired your cache I can only assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

While I feel that we should hold the location for you we can't do so forever.
If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the VERY near future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks,
*gln, Mongo

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a camoed metal container approximately 10" by 4" by 7" hidden just off the Hamburg Trail in St.Charles county.

The construction of the Hamburg Trail is still under way. It starts at the Busch Wildlife Headquarters. It is not marked at the beginning. Part of the trail is actually one of the existing roads that runs past Lake 36. Shortly past Lake 36, you'll come to 3 redish pipes, go right at the fork. Eventually it ends up running parallel to Hwy D and then crosses Hwy 94 at Hwy D. At the Howell Cemetery go right and you'll see the gate for the trail. At the tunnels it crosses Hwy 94 again. On the west side of the tunnels, take the gravel trail to the left. The trail follows Hwy 94, then crosses 94 again down by Lost Valley and then hooks up to the Katy Trail.

Thanks to John Vogel of the MDC for his cooperation in contributing to geocaching. Hunting is allowed in the area. For more information call 636-441-4554.
