Geocache Description:

We came out to grab a new cache by Let's Fly, and saw that there was a very small gap for a new one of our own. You are looking for a "large micro" ;-) Is that anything like a jumbo shrimp? We'll let you decide! {130/116}

The cache is along a nice trail that has been re-worked by COSCA over the past decade or so. They (and many volunteer helpers, including us and a number of other cachers) did a really nice job on it, too Check some of the other nearby caches for suggested parking and TH info.

Originally, we had intended that folks trade a penny in their pocket for the one that was in the cache, but that has gone by the wayside, as has the request to post an interesting thought of some kind with your on-line log. This explains the name.

The cache used to be a SCUBA-type tube; now, it's a dark mini decon (thanks to campyc!!), with a pencil, logsheet (thanks to erik for providing it and to RCKen for rescuing it ) and a little swag. It's hanging about six feet up (or maybe it's three feet; it might have "moved" recently ), in the large, obvious object. Signal bounce is fierce Our Oregon 550t showed an error of 18 feet; it usually is less than 4 feet, so you'll likely need to use your geo-sense for the last 30 feet or so.

When you get to the closest spot on the main trail to the cache, you'll see an easy way off the trail, but it goes right past a tree that had an active bee hive at the time this was originally hidden. They didn't bother me at all while I watched, but I was 12 feet away. You can turn right and then zig-zag around to the cache, or just go 15-20 feet down the trail to a slightly more-awkward spot to get to the opening that will lead to the cache. We've never seen any poison oak on this trail, but it might be here, anyway, and critters of all types abound.

That's it: a penny for your thought(s). Have fun!
