The origin of the phrase "cup of Joe" goes back to the early 1900s and Admiral Josephus Daniels. Admiral Daniels was secretary of the navy in the Wilson administration during World War I . After he outlawed alcohol on ships, coffee became the favorite beverage of naval crews. Hence the name "cup of Joe."
Enjoy a morning cup of Joe with other area cachers, as we share stories, trade tails, and throw about advice in the art of geocaching camoflauge. After feel free to head out either alone or in groups for some caching in Anoka County.
