Geocache Description:

Located a short walk along a horse trail in Maple Ridge

The central and east Maple Ridge areas abound with horse trails reflecting Maple Ridge's equestrian nature and love of horses.

The cache is located a short walk along Westview horse trail on the western flank of Thorne Hill. The trail lives up to it's name as it offers an unparalleled view to the west and south-west of Greater Vancouver all the way to Vancouver Island.

After you find the cache take the upper trail a short distance to another vantage spot where you have an unobstructed view of the mountains to the north and north-west.

Do yourself a favour and come here on a clear sunny day; guaranteed you'll fire off more than a few shots with the camera.

Cache is now a waterproof match container.
