THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!!!

This cache has been placed as part of a series to celebrate 100 years of Scouting. Other Scouters and cachers are invited to join in and make caches as well. As the name implies the cache is about knots.


Knots tied by beavers can be quite interesting and are usually just a bunch of crosses. Cubs, scouts, venturers and rovers get much more experience and become very good at it. The International Guild of Knot Tyers even provides a forum for those who want even more experience.

To find this cache you will need to determine the names of the knots for the attached pictures and fill in the blanks below. The number in brackets indicates the letter that is to be used to solve the puzzle.

Keep in mind that many knots have several names depending on which source you use.

There is no need to trample anything for this cache. The area you walk should be mowed with lots of muggles going by depending on the time of day.
