Geocache Description:

A nano cache to welcome you to Cornell.

“I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study”
– Ezra Cornell, 1865

Cornell University’s motto reflects its land-grant history rooted in practical rather than classical academic pursuits. The motto has recently been abbreviated to “Any person … Any study.” Cornell has the distinction of being the only Ivy League school with a motto in English rather than Latin. (In Latin, it would be “Quisquam qui ars.”)

Cornell is a vibrant academic center and has a beautiful campus worth exploring. It also has a major economic impact on the local community, an extension program that reaches statewide…and is the place of employment of several geocachers. Cornell has too many components to note here but no matter what brings you “Far Above Cayuga’s Waters," this nano is here to welcome you.

Congrats to apfister on the FTF!
